Thank you for responding to my e-mail and letting me know that my local Wal-Mart did still carry your product…I have acid reflux and this is a salsa that I can eat and it doesn’t seem to aggravate my reflux. I love to put it on my scrambled eggs with cheese for breakfast… and it is great on baked potatoes with butter and sour cream, it adds just that little extra…. thank you again. Lois; Winfield, MO

I LOVE your MILD salsa. You see, I don’t like peppers in any form. This is THE ONLY salsa that I eat. My problem is I found it in our Wal-Mart. It’s there sporatically. When they do have it, they can’t keep it in stock. I panic when I can’t find it… I am so “tickled” to see a Christian salsa. God Bless you!! I was craving tortilla chips and salsa one evening at work. I work 3rd shift, and after my shift was over, I went to the local Wal-Mart. With so many salsa choices, I noticed “sweet salsa” and decided to try the mild flavor. I bought the jar of Red Cactus salsa on Wednesday morning at Wal-Mart and it is now Friday morning (3:00a.m.) and my salsa is nearly gone. It is absolutely delicious. I will never buy another brand as long as Red Cactus is on the shelf. Not only am I thankful for my new find, but also the testimony I just read. The scripture reference on the jar, something I didn’t notice until my third serving, was quite a welcome surprise. My daughter picked out your product at Wal-Mart. I had never tried it before. We really liked it alot. Then my son noticed that there was a bible verse on the back and it said “from the cactus to the cross.” So, naturally I was intrigued by this and looked it up on your website. We just wanted to tell you how much we LOVE your salsa. It is also like my aunts homemade recipe. We currently purchase it from our WalMart in Maple Grove, MN. I was overjoyed to find out that the Walmart, having just underwent an expansion into a supercenter, DOES carry Red Cactus! WAHOO! I have already eaten almost a full two jars since finding this out only a few days ago. I have tried two other salsas while under my “cactus drought”, a peach salsa from “Mrs. Renfro’s” and another peach mango salsa that I tried at a friend’s house. None are as good as Red Cactus. On a whim, I tried your salsa which I had purchased at Wal-Mart in Springville, NY. My husband and I were enamored of its sweet taste immediately. Sometimes, when Wal-Mart runs out of stock, my husband accuses me of forgetting to buy Red Cactus. We love it!!!!

A friend brought some Red Cactus salsa camping a few weeks ago and had us try it. We are hooked! I bought 6 jars the last time I was at the store. I just wanted to let you know before red cactus came out I never ate salsas or picante dips or things of that nature because they were too tangy, vinegary tasting. But red cactus hits the pallet ever so gently making you smile and say hmmm. Beata

Hello! I am a special education teacher in Troy, Missouri and yesterday another teacher had her students bring in ingredients to make burritos. The teacher was to bring in salsa. She brought in your sweet and mild salsa. She made up a burrito for me and I gobbled it up. It was the best burrito I have ever eaten, and I have eaten a lot of burritos! I could tell that the salsa in the burrito is what made it so delicious. When I asked the teacher what type of salsa it was, I must admit, I had never heard of it. I suffer from a medical condition where I have a gazillion more taste buds than most people and as a result, I can’t eat foods that have a ‘bite’ to them. Dear Red Cactus, I have a sister who lives in Decatur and she discovered your salsa while shopping at Sam’s Club. I live in Ohio so I had never heard of it. She called me and told me how awesome your salsa was and that it wasn’t hot. She went on to tell me how she never even got heart burn from it. I found all of this hard to believe because of past experience. All mild salsa is still hot to me. People will say it;s not real hot but to me it can feel like fire. I have had bells palsy twice and it damaged the nerves in the tongue and if I eat anything spicy it sets my mouth on fire. The doctor told me to be careful or I could burn my mouth. They said people have had severe burns in the mouth who have this problem. Always loved spicy food so I was deeply disappointed when they told me this.

I went to visit my sister for Christmas and she gave me a chip with Red Cactus . I could not believe how awesome it was. I fell in love with it. I liked the sweet taste and was shocked it never burned my mouth and it was so easy on the stomach. I couldn’t believe I didn’t get heart burn. My sister laughed at me because I ate some everyday. We had to go back to Sam’s Club and buy more, pulse I bought some to bring back home for my husband to try. When I got home I set down for some salsa and chips. I gave some to my husband he felt the same as me. In one week he and I had ate the 2 bottles I brought home. When we were finishing the last bottle my husband noticed the crosses and seen the scripture on the bottle. He ask my if I knew it was a Faith based company and I said no. Well that made us like it more. It was neat that salsa could get the word out there to people.

I have told everyone about you salsa. I told them to try it and thy would never buy any other kind. That’s when I ran into a problem. I went to Sam’s Club, 2 Walmarts and Cub Foods and no one sold it. I was heart broke. I finally found salsa I could eat but could not buy. My best friend went on line and found out your company is in Illinois.She told me I should go to Rantoul and buy a truck load and bring it back here and sell it.I finally called to find out where else I could buy it when Steve called me and said I could buy it on line. That made me very happy. He told me about recipes I could make. I never thought about using salsa instead of sauces. My husband has got to the point that tomato sauces bother him to eat but now I know I can use the salsa and we both will be happy. I hope in the future that it will be in the stores here so it will be easier to buy. May God Bless your company and expand your territory.

My husband and I have been buying your great Salsa now for for some time. When we do buy its always 2-3 jars at a time cause it don’t last once the lid is off and the great thing is besides the tasteful flavor is it DOESN’T upset ANYONES stomach. Just thought that I would let you know that we (my son age 7, husband & I) love your salsa. I had been seeing it at the store for awhile and decided to try it. Needless to say, it was fantastic. I bought your salsa the other day because of the fact that you are a Christian Company. The 3 crosses caught my eye when I was checking the ingredients. I will NEVER buy a different kind of salsa!!! This was BY FAR the best salsa I have ever had!!! My family agrees!!! By any chance does your company ever get involved in fundraisers for Churches? I KNOW it would be a tremendous money maker! All you would have to do is put out a basket of chips and jar of salsa and people would buy, buy, buy,!!! Our youth group raises money yearly for summer mission trips. Did you say addictive? Oh My Goodness…I got hooked on Red Cactus when I lived in Quincy (2002-2005). I moved home to Alabama in ’05 but stocked up with 3 cases of Red Cactus when I went back to Quincy to visit. My friends must have thought I was crazy when I gave them a jar of R.C. for Christmas an told them that it’s a special salsa that you can’t buy here. As my supply got smaller and smaller I wasn’t so eager to share. Last week my good Northern friends Julie and Tammy sent me a case. I was so surprised & I started jumping up and down as I dug each jar from the box. Needless to say….I started eating it ASAP and almost hurt myself getting the jar open. Oh yes, I am a fan! I live in Ankeny, Iowa. About a year-and-a-half ago, while looking for a new taste, I happened to pick up a 16-oz jar of your medium salsa at our local (in Ankeny) Hy-Vee store. I was immediately impressed with the tangy-sweet flavor of the product. Within a short time, I made Red Cactus Salsa a regular part of my grocery purchases and, before long, found that I was buying as many as ten jars per week. My wife, and a number of our guests, have also enjoyed the product in the past year. I was very quick to learn, however, that most of the others did not enjoy quite the same bold taste that I do. Consequently, I made a habit of purchasing an equal number of jars of the mild as I did of the medium. By mixing them together in equal amounts, I was able to appease both my wife’s (as well as our guests) less-spicy nature, while satisfying my own bolder tastes, as well. Since I was a little kid I haven’t liked salsa. I could never find one that didn’t upset my stomach. About a year and a half ago, my 3 year old son (now 5)on a grocery shopping trip, pulled a jar of Mild Red Cactus Salsa off the shelf when my wife and I were getting other items. We didn’t notice it until we got home. She likes salsa but has always used a different brand, so, we didn’t know what to do with this stuff. Your salsa sat in the cupboard for about 2 weeks, finally we decided to try it. It is Awesome! We all (even me) just love it. It makes some of the best nachos ever. We now keep a jar in the fridge and one in the cupboard, just in case. We still make jokes about him sneaking it off the shelf even today. So, thank you for a wonderful product. It is Fantastic!!

Just wanted to tell you I just tried your salsa. It is wonderful. Dierbergs had a demonstrator giving out samples. It’s the best I’ve ever had. It is not bitter like the other salsa in jars.

I happened to be checking out salsas and picked your jar up to see if it actually had cactus as one of the ingredients—-to my surprise—no cactus…However, the 3 crosses caught my eye along with the Scripture address. SOLD! When an organization is bold enough to proclaim a faith in Christ on their product it produces an appeal that advertising simply cannot. Thank-you for your witness. Back home in California there’s a burger place called IN-N-OUT Burgers that prints Scripture addresses on the bottoms of their drink cups.
